Koukaki is placed at the foot of Acropolis, on the southeast side of Philopappos hill.

Everyone will pass through the Acropolis of course but they are interested in the fact that the shops here are not too overcrowded, as in Plaka. The closest area is Koukaki and maybe that is why they choose it “. Koukaki is one of the few neighborhoods of the center that neatly preserved neoclassical buildings, architectural ornaments, but also apartment buildings of the interwar period.
