I speak 7 languages, and I had more than 30 language teachers in several countries, in various educational systems, and I have struggled a lot. Then I have met Dimitra. She is far the best teacher I have ever had. Her lessons are just amazing: speaking orientated, matching to your level, you get personalised tasks and topics, she has really high quality online-teaching materials, she gives you a manageable amount of homework, which is actually fun to do. And instead of memorising sentences like: “In order not to miss your final destination, ask the conductor to put you down at Trafalgar Square”, she will teach you how to talk about things that you actually want to talk about. We started a year ago. I could not identify the letters. Now I am reading Cavafy and I am fluent. She also helped me with ancient Greek.
